This policy applies to hyliax.net (the marketing site) and admin.hyliax.net (the tenant administration panel), collectively the "Hyliax Services." Your privacy is important. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

Tenant sites hosted on the Hyliax platform operate under their own privacy policies and are not covered by this policy.

1. Information We Collect

a. Marketing Site Visitors

hyliax.net does not require account creation or user submissions. We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Where applicable, usage information may be processed in anonymized or truncated form.

b. Authenticated Tenant Administrators

Access to admin.hyliax.net is authenticated via Discord OAuth. When you sign in, we collect the following information from your Discord account: Discord user ID, username, and email address.

We additionally record administrative actions you take within the panel for security, audit, and operational purposes. This includes records of release configurations, artifact uploads, tier changes, and similar actions.

c. Technical Information

Our hosting provider may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data for security and operational purposes. We do not use this data to personally identify visitors.

d. Contact

If you contact us via Discord or other third-party platforms, those services operate under their own privacy policies. Any information you share with us in those conversations is handled at our discretion in the course of responding to your inquiry.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Under applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR and Canadian privacy legislation), we process your data based on the following legal grounds:

  • Contractual Necessity: To authenticate tenant administrators and provide the administrative features required to operate a tenant on the platform.
  • Legitimate Interest: To maintain Site security, prevent abuse, maintain audit logs, and analyze anonymized usage statistics to improve the Services.

4. Data Storage & Security

Authentication data and audit logs for tenant administrators are securely stored using Cloudflare databases and infrastructure. We do not share or sell user data to any third party.

We strictly limit data collection to what is necessary to operate the Services. We do not request, infer, or store sensitive personal information beyond what is described above.

5. Data Retention

Authentication records are retained for as long as you maintain administrative access to a tenant on the platform. Audit logs are retained for operational and security purposes.

Technical and analytics data is retained only as long as necessary for operational and security purposes and may be subject to the retention policies of third-party providers.

Upon termination of tenancy, retention of tenant data is governed by the applicable tenant agreement. You may request deletion of your authentication data at any time by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management on admin.hyliax.net. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from logging into the administrative panel.

7. Third-Party Services

The Hyliax Services integrate with and link to third-party platforms including Discord, Patreon, SubscribeStar, and Cloudflare. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own privacy policies.

8. International Data Transfers

We use global cloud infrastructure to operate the Hyliax Services. Data processed by our hosting provider may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your country of residence.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, including the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal and operational requirements)
